Casted Impact-resistant heads. The heads are water and dust resistant and can withstand a punch well enough for military standards.
Shadow Diffusing Lens makes the shadows less crisp and noticeable. An undiffused light will cast a shadow with crisp lines, adding distractions. The diffusing lenses give more natural and pleasing light.
Multiple Joint Design. Solid joints are used to allow the user to move the light wherever it needs to be. These joints can easily be tightened and loosened as desired and are prepped with Loctite prior to shipping.
50,000-hour service life (5.7 Years). This means you can turn the light on, and leave it on, for 5.7 years before the bulb dies. This is because LED technology is very efficient, will not get hot, and uses very little electricity to operate. 100-240V LED Driver, 110V plug included. Another crucial component to the longevity of the light is the driver. Our drivers allow for a voltage input anywhere from 100V to 240V and are equipped standard with a 110V 5-15 plug. This means that if you need 208V or 220V you can simply cut the plug and rewire it to the receptacle.
Low Heat & Energy Consumption. Based on recent electricity data, the 14W Chameleon lights will only cost $2.56 a year if used for 5 hours every day. Compare this to a typical Halogen Machine light, the cost is up to ten times that, and that is not included replacement bulbs or possible fire hazards.

Excellent lamp

Bought this for the 14BX. Once installed worked very well. Nice set of adjustments. Mine did not show up with the mounting hardware, only 4 cheap screws, no other hardware. There are no directions. Maybe Laguna needs to make a YouTube video. Suggest using Allen screws and nyloc nuts. Use the top wheel tilt to help access to the screws. Once installed, this is a top shelf lamp. Mounted mine on top with cable clamps to control the wire. Will buy another one when I buy the lathe next year.
AWESOME LIGHT, bought one then another then anoth and still to one more! lol

Ok so I ordered a light... it is so freaking nice I ordered two more and I think I will buy one more to finish out the complete line-up. I bought the lathe light for my Viking brand lathe and it's so nice I decided to use it over my electronic repair and fine detail workbench. So I ordered the Halogen, but then decided it might be nice on my new Rikon DVR Bandsaw... so I ordered this one for my new Laguna Jointer. non of the lights came with mounting brackets so I ordered brackets and they don't fit the lights? what the heck are they for then? anyways I'll just drill new holes in the right spot. they must be for a different Late or jointer... non the less, these are well built very nice lights, and worth the price! gonna have to buy more because My lathe is still missing a light! lol
