The 12″ Swing-Away Extension allows you to “Park” the tail-stock onto the Extension & then swivel it out of the way when not in use. It also works as a 12″ bed extension.

 

Includes hinge and lock-handle, does not require any drilling.

A do not buy item.

I bought this swing-away last winter can't say i like it , the hinge is so flimsy. It barely can take the wait. Not satisfied at all. I had a better system on my Nova lathe for the same price.
